This is the inaugural issue of Journal of Critical Public Health (JCPH). As described here, JCPH was created in July 2023 to coincide with the resignation by members of the Editorial Board of Critical Public Health from its corporate owners and publishers, to ensure continuity for the community of authors and readers.
